About Alternative Reproductive Resources
Welcome to Alternative Reproductive Resources. Since our inception in 1992, we have used our expertise to find exceptional, high-quality donors and match them with intended parents. We receive most of our referrals from leading reproductive endocrinologists in the Mid-West and Chicago, IL. These medical professionals refer patients to us because they trust in our knowledge and our ability to provide outstanding egg donor, egg donation and gestational surrogate candidates to our clients.
We are proud to say that we have been involved in hundreds of births, and have intentionally grown our agency slowly to be sure that we are offering the right services to the right people at the right time, keeping a constant eye on technological and medical advances. All of us here at ARR are proud of our history and reputation for helping future parents navigate their way through this complicated and ever-changing process. Some of us have extensive personal knowledge in dealing with infertility issues. We combine our personal experiences along with the latest technological and medical advancements to provide the most comprehensive and caring reproductive resource program available. This program is completely anonymous.

ARR combines the latest technologies available with thorough, comprehensive and time-tested programs to match donors with intended parents. Our goal is to provide you with a well-rounded approach to your needs.
We begin the process by recruiting donors through all available media. All donation candidates are then screened through extensive questionnaires and interviews, which include personal, as well as medical history, a thorough Bio-Psycho-Social Evaluation* and other pertinent details that may be of importance to the intended parents. If these candidates meet ARR’s stringent criteria, they will be sent to a mental health professional for further evaluation. The candidate will also be asked to take the MMPI*, which provides additional insight into their mental health. Once approved by the psychologist, the candidate will be matched with the intended parents or be entered into ARR’s database. This database allows ARR to match high-quality donors with an intended parents criterion.
We offer three main programs. They are:
- Oocyte (Egg) Donation
- Ethnic-Specific Oocyte (Egg) Donation
- Gestational Surrogacy
Each of these programs is complete, thorough and, with the exception of Gestational Surrogacy, completely anonymous.
